I have 4 red bellies about 4 inch long ,if i put my hand in to move anything around do you think they might bite ? am i being crazy to try this or will they just hide?

i have heard some storys that tey bite when very hungrey, but 90% of thhe time they will be scared. i would try it but then again im crazy lol
