A weak tail doesn't necessarily make it low quality, but a weak tail doesn't make it high quality. When grading flowerhorns on the grading scale, most fish are graded overall.(Kok size/shape, color, tail shape/size, body shape, etc) Also, weak tails is not really an insult of sorts, just a criticism.

I personally prefer fh's with fan tails, and yes the fish in my avatar had a weak tail(which I dislike lol).

I also agree... However "Water's" fish does not have a weak tail. Thats a average tail. A weak tail is one that will drop (hang) in the future. I dont have any pictures with me, however if you google (drop tail) that may help.

I thought weak tales could mean either/or?

crooked, bent down, flimsy or too small in proportion to the rest of the fish.
