importing's not a problem at all, i can do that with little trouble, getting the car legal to drive on american roads, with registration etc, will be the *****. i have buddies that can get illegal skyline R34's imported for 15k. which would be no problem for just a track car, but i really want to use it more than just a track car, i sometimes don't get there for months, my work hours suck ass.

No where near a Ferrari but more like a corvette. Well maybe older ferrari's like a 348 ts or even older a 275 GTB. Still a stock GT-R will get wooped on a line against the 275 gtb. The great thing about Skylines are you can achieve massive amounts of power with little after market parts and wrench time. They are fantastic track cars though. Personally I wouldn't spend the money to imort one but it's your opinion and if you like the cars go for it, but then as you said your not going to be able to legalize the car for the roads on U.S. soil. I would rather spend my money on a Ferrari or an old Mopar.

i said japenese ferrari meaning i'm comparing it to the other cars that japan manufactures;) and i have seen turbo kit's for skylines that can pump out 925 hp, just turbo's ( that was 10 grand) but they could easily kill any ferrari imo if properly tuned. and they are worth like 4x as much in america because of the fact that it's hard to find them ( but there not impossible to get legalized by a far shot) you can get it done you just have to know how it's done, or get a company such as the now gone MotoRex to do it for you. i'm a japenese import fan so i wouldn't spend the money on an american mopar.

Yeah I agree on that many Japanese manufactured cars are easily tuned to achieve huge power. I have seen some Skylines beat ferrari's before but remember this the ferrari's are stock extremely fast so... It's personal preferance on the car of choice. Many old mopars are huge power houses and with superchargers and intercoolers with awesome pulley systems they can be almost unbeatable. Although try turning one at high speed then you got problems lol. In order for you to get an old car like that to stay on the road at high speed then you got to drop 5 grand into just putting air bag suspension kit in it lol. For me imports from Japan just don't peak my interest. The only one that has in the past was a RX-7 that I had with a Turbo and inter cooler. Now that was an extremely fun car but I sold it because I bought a new Cummins turbo diesel 2500 Ram.

lol, i will find a Nissan S14a 200sx with under 60k on the clock for under £4000.... with seats in still crisp condition... in the UK, already registerd to the Uk with plates and no extra BS... mayb extra pbass thou...

ite realy it should be s14a silvia but yea right £4000... i gota be reasonable! and its the same thing, dif badge for christ sake!

oh n sod skylines! buy a real car... buy rwd!
