So now that I have two free roaming animals in the house I need make sure that they leave each other alone and are comfortable with one another. To do this, I need to start small. While John Dorian Grey is still only 5 weeks old, he is too small and I think that Julio would kick his butt at this point so I went with a smaller lizard as well. Norbert (my frilled dragon) is about 2 feet long with most of it being tail. They are about the same size as one another so I figured if I kept a close eye on them, it would be fine. Here is what happened when they saw each other: http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hpho...85581785627_1420119798_31394884_7017510_n.jpg (MFK is not letting me upload it for some reason so there is the link.) Norbert immediately frilled up and JD just sniffed around like it was some new toy. After not even 15 seconds, Norbert put his frill down and allowed JD to come in and sniff him a bit. about 30 seconds after that, they lost interest in each other. I plan on introducing the kitten to Julio in a few weeks and see what happens. If they do not get along then I will have to pen one of them up half of the time but judging from how it went today, I do not foresee any problems.

btw, I do not know why but Mfk is acting strange, I swear i had it separated out into nice paragraphs that are not showing up now...

Post some pics of Julio!!!

I'm just throwing this out there, I'd guess quite a few people opened this thread wanting an update on that king.. Myself included. Curse you for getting my hopes up!:p:grinno:

I'd be careful when your cat gets bigger I could see a big problem. Cats are natural born predators even though they put on a cute exterior.
Thus the reason I'm not too fond of them. (Ocelots being the exception.)
