at the Cincinnati auction Sat I got a really nice pair of chocolate cichlids and
(1)-2 1/2" cutteri for a grand total of 17 buck.

Went to green tree pets today and they have about 8-10 florida gar. Pretty small maybe 10'' at most. They also have some hujeta characins, and a few knives. Thats it for the odd balls.

I was planning on going tomorrow, but maybe I'll hit Pet's Palace first. Happen to see any FH fry at greentree? They had some good looking small ones last time and I was going to grab a few

I never really pay attention to the cichlids. So I do not know about the FH's. They more than likley do have some thou.

Got my two FHs today. The one with the kok was still there, so I got that one. The larger fader was still around, but looked dull so I got a 1" peeling pale blue. There's also one slghtly larger FH that will look good when grown, not to my liking though.

Oddballs were same as you said. Sometime today they got a trade in Goby, maybe 9-11 inches- not sure on the species though. These guys actually have wild coloration oscars, but there was a ton of ich in that tank.

Also went to Pet's Galore in New Albany, IN. Not the best selection but they've got a gigantic red terror for $60. (Listed as RT, but I was told GT when I called to inquire.) Fish was 14" easily. Not many oddballs- a couple of larger 12"+ clown knives.

Nice pickup! I was thinking about it, but figured they're more active than lungs and would require a larger tank in the long run. I think the store in Bardstown is Pet's Palace? JD mentioned them a while back and I called- the 8" should be SALs, and that will be my default buy. Since I'm passing through Indiana near Greentree tomorrow afternoon, I planned on stopping in.

They were SALs $30 bucks each, but not worth a tenth of that. No fins at all, chunks ripped out of the dorsal area. In a tank with upper strata fish that hogged all the food. Also ich infested and untreated, even after I went off on the employees there.

They also had an African going for $100. Not in as bad condition, but it wasn't exceptional either.

I went to Pet's Galore today and asked them to call when the got lungs in. She estimated price at $12-30. I can PM or post here when I get the call- that's if they get in more than one.
