Looking for a nice cannister filter in the louiville,ky area.Fluval,Eheim etc.
 
Anyone know where to find rays in louisville? I know Greentree Pet Center gets a teacup/retic every now and then, and so does PetsPalace. I'm looking for anything really, retics, motoro's, etc.
 
I was there earlier and they said it had either died or been sold. The employee didn't seem to really know or care....

Green Tree and Pets Palace are decent pet shops but they all pretty much get their fish from the same local supplier and unless you have some one go to hand pick it from the supplier, chances are you are not going to get a good ray. Its MUCH better to order from one of out vendors on this forum. Currently I believe Crystal Clear Exotics has some really nice captive bred motoros, a PERFECT starter ray.

Im always looking for a group order too and Im in the area so if you are let me know and we can split shipping.
 
One of the guys at Pets Palace claims he'll go hand pick on for me at the supplier to make sure I get a nice looking male. I've already got a little female retic, so I'm trying to find a male right now.

I was hoping to find something decent priced here on MFK, but it mostly seems to be motoro's available, and I don't have the space to keep them just yet (hopefully I will this spring/summer).

Dont trust them. I know all the guys over there and not ONE of them knows what to look for when it comes to rays. Back when Green Tree sold their tea cups for $39 it was worth the gamble, for $60 like they are now...no way and I'd hate to see how over priced they are at Pets Palace.
