Taking this to the top with a LFS report.

Pet's Palace had ich all over their tanks. Prices went up a lot since the last time I went. (Price of SALs doubled to $60.) Some flowerhorn fry with kok potential going $9 each, but there was ich all over them. Small silver arowanas going $30 each. Best deal I saw was a lima shovelnose going for $20.

Greentree didn't have anything interesting. Not many oddballs. Best thing there were four GIANT blood parrots. These guys were 9"+ easily. Price was $50 each, but they were traded in and the previous owner got $90 for all four. There's going to be some wiggle room to bargain with if you're interested in these guys.

Also want to add that I'm looking to buy used filters and mid sized tanks. One large 5-6' set up if the price is right.

I also did the lfs run around on saturday. I was at pet palace at around 5:30 and every arowana they had was dead and floating on its side at the top of the water. There must have been 6-7 3''ers and all dead. What a shame. And there salt stuff looked poor as well with alot of algae building up. They only thing they had that i even looked closely at were the exodons, but at a price of 3 for 20bucks I did not look long.-------------------And greentree was pretty much the norm. They did have exo's as well but for 8.99 a pop. Only thing that i seen that was neat were there new batch of platies and guppies were the biggest i have ever seen with my bare eyes. They had 3-4 orange platies in a tank that were easily 3+ inches long. And a few female fancy guppies that were over 2''. Definetly monsters for those species. They also had a few hujeta characins. And some lady finally bought that monster pleco in the feeder tank. They loaded it in a cooler and it was probably 15-17''.----------The old lady talked me into going to old time pottery behind green tree and there i witnessed 2 very large muscular gentlemen with alot of makeup on and one wearing a wig, holding hands walking thru the store. I instanly told her never again.

I forgot---pets palace had a bunch of peacock bass that were labeled as mono's as well. I can't remember the price. And greentree has a huge amount of the smallest piranha i have seen. some were less than quarter size.

Pbass at Pet's Palace were $6.95 each, I didn't look at the price for multiples. Only price near the small Ps at greentree were $15 ea, but they usually sell the small ones for 5 or 6 bucks each. Giant guppies at greentree were $3 ea- they looked a bit drab so I thought they were mosquitofish x guppies.

forgot about this thread. 4 month old 75 gallon tank with stand, lids, lights, air pumps and decor if you really want. 50% off of what i bought it for. really want to sell and would drive up to 120 miles to drop off or deliver.

bought it new at uncle bills for 400 and selling it for 200 with just a few months of use.

Just realized even after you said that, that i didnt have a price. Thanks for the heads up!
