The Truth about Mantis Shrimp

Imagine the state of awe of seeing a color not part of the visual electromagnetic spectrum. Im not talking about like a different shade of green, A whole new color. How would you go about explaining this color to somebody.
Snakes have adapted to see thermal, and we can feel and see gamma and X-rays. But I dont believes thats any new colors. And how did they figure out dogs see in monochrome brown. Now i am baffled. I though I knew the answers to these questions 10 years ago dosed laying in a field listening to the grateful dead half naked.

idk about that rubix cube...lol they cut the frame.
and i find it hard to believe that it would just chuck out the cube once it "solved" it.
regardless though, theyre super cool animals!!!
