There are a few species of penguins that you can obtain. There is a trio of them at a house in Ranier Oregon thet you can go and look at for a fee. I had a badger years ago was semi tame as an adult, would eat from our hand but did not like being held.

I recall hearing that name before but not what they look like.
 
I would love an arctic fox... played with a three month old wild cub when I was in Iceland, only person who didn't get upset when bitten, but she was just adorable :) really playful and sweet, and a lot smaller and safer to play with than my favorite animal (grey wolf).

One thing I think people (not people here) need to accept when looking at these odd pets is that they are mostly all less domesticated than more common animals, so their not as "safe". I just wish people would think before buying a tiger then having its toes cut off for example. uploadfromtaptalk1385681902467.jpg

You can buy completely domesticated foxes that come from Russia. They have been neutered so you can't breed them. They have a lucrative market. Demand and zero competition.
