The ultimate Other Characins collection- what would it be?

Haha this is something I've been dreaming of for a very long time! For me, personally, the big three are GATF, Armatus and an Aimara. Soon (mid to late summer) I'll be starting out my monster tank build. And if all goes well, I'll be keeping my three GATFs for life. And housing them together will all depend on how they will behave with each other, not now but a year or two down the road.

I'm sorry but Goliaths need a bubble to be kept with anything..... Maybe they grow a spine once they've out grown all the rest of the Tigers, but to house these things with any of the mentioned is going to take a small miracle.....

As far as the Brevis - I have no experience with them, but if they are half the nightmare Tanzies can be it would be a truly amazing feat to see them cohab with other Tigers.

Tigers are the issue as far as cohabbing. I've had Dorado, Armatus, and Aimara together for quite some time without any issue at all. But boy trying to get them Tiggers to get along is quite the task. I'm not sure I'm even convinced it can be done. My Tanzies have a zero tolerance policy for other Tigers.

A good 12-13 inches. Shoaling with the TFB occasionally but prefers to go in circles around the wavemaker.

Hopefully will be a good tankmate and won't cause too much trouble like dorados are known for.

3 days gone. Still haven't display any of the nasty traits that Dorado are known for.

Fingers crossed. Started eating today, gobbling up 8-10 pieces of SW. Hope this one will succeed in my hands.

I would imagine that a tank with all of those top predators in it would develop problems before to long, but if some one made it would it would be an awesome tank.

Do update yours from time to time. With the Pleuro removed, I guess it's just the Aimara and dorado now?

You need to grab a big GATF and Armatus - I believe not too hard in a big Chinese city; then you will be having a the ultimate Characin dream comm.
