Well, all aside. Best color for both fish and your personal preference for looks. Me, I like blue but I find black is better for photography.

+1 blue SW black FW, btw black complements all colors so it's quite fit to every FW fish, not unless it's also a jet black fish like ghost knife fish.

I think thats about right also, theres a few fish I prefer blue on, like discus
