one piece of chicken, and only when it was in the front over night.

Well i made a mistake, and nearly got tagged. She was sitting under the water at the front pond. She didnt move when i opened her door. That worried me so i reached in and touched her. She started to wiggle but didnt come up. still worryin me i poked her again. but i only had a spot right at her neck to check her. So i pushed it. she apparently was just resting......... In one strong lunge she launched herself right beside my arm and flew out of the water. I mean she came completely out and gave me the death stare.

close call and stupid mistake. gotta be careful........

it might be a good idea to get a dowel or a broomstick, that way you won't have to reach in the water yourself if something like that happens again

yeah im thinking ur right.

this animal is wierd. she was hiding in the one planter under the pothos vine.

so i picked her up(its hard for her to get out of there, plus i was puttin out fresh food)
she seemed cold so i set her in the pond. she hissed(very audible noise) and raced through the water. so i through a piece of chicken in the water in front of her and placed one on her food tray. im not wasting a ton of chicken any more. that was around 5. i just checked on her(lights are off) and she was out of the pond walking around. the chicken has been eatten!!! so i guess i got to feed her alittle at a time and only through her pond. oh well at least she is eatting

Owesame news dude, well I think we can say she is gonna make it :) Sugestion: get a big tin feeding stick and see if you can make her eat woule foods but the chicken is a good idea as well. But see if you can make her eat in your presence. Once you do that you can begin to train her a bit. Have you considered putting live fish in both ponds? That way she would allways have something to eat if she wanted. Tilapia, mosquitofish, convicts...

I agree with Coura. Stock the pond with live food and stuff to keep her on the alert.
