Yup...always a strong possibility. Looks like a teritorial dispute from the type of wound though.

It totally sucked, I saw the whole thing. I dropped in a frozen rat pup to feed them and the Curpira was perched higher than normal on a fake stump. They both went for it hard and fast. The Curupira managed to catch the Rat pup and the top or the Arm's dorsal at the same time. The Arm had a pretty good gash on him, but he's healing at a ridiculous rate. Took the pic the next day and the torn fins are mending already the gash is almost gone and the dorsal looks like it's growing back. Does anybody know if that's possible? I thought hard rays don't grow back and the primary ray on the dorsal is hard. There's def. regrowth going on.

I hope not. That sux bro, sorry for the loss. The Armatus is bigger than the Curupira so hopefully not. Was that a Armatus in your pics or a Tat? Looks Tat to me because of the red fins.
it was a Tat that, whilst smaller, should not have become a meal. It took the wolf over a day to swallow it propperly. Gutty bugger.
Fortunately it sounds like a feeding accident. I have seen lots of unrecoverable injuries recovered. The healing ability of fish is awesome.
