^ its totally Lizzie, they didn't touch on it possibly being the little girl for a reason in the Talking dead. Carol taught her how to use knives, she thinks of zombies as "sick people" and treats them almost like pets. Why wouldn't she give em a treat? Maybe she thinks she's doing some sort of research by dissecting animals, who knows

If you don't think the Walking Dead can get any crazier, what kind of people do you think a world like that would produce? The governor is messed up n all, but he was just a very desperate family man who cracked. Imagine what a true sociopath would turn into if he survived long term. WAY more messed up groups of people can be introduced, imagine a cult of insane evangelists or satanists thinking this is the Apocalypse and they were left behind to clean up the survivors? Way creepier and messed up things can be thought up of, I'm pumped for the Abraham to be introduced, army guys are bound to be messed up in that world. Either that or more of a Hero character like Rick.

If they are going to a city, I suspect a very dark, dark rest of season probably resulting in them finding another "prison" which doesn't really have to be a prison.. anywhere with big fences would do, military facilities, private company etc. Hell I want em to go to an island haha

I think the girl was feeding the rats but it was Bob that carved up the animal. Maybe Bob did both with the other group and they threw him out.

I'm sure they'll come up with something. I can't see the series just losing momentum down to 0. The rat concept does seem like it could be an entertaining puzzle. I guess we'll see if that turns into something to focus on for a few episodes. I hope something more interesting comes up like seeing some more cities get bombed or even just the camps they come across getting bombed or exterminated to clear the land of infected humans. Something to that would probably get them moving and keep them guessing. Wouldn't be able to negotiate with an A10 loaded with napalm very well. Probably won't wait for the committee. lol

really? even if they don't kind of follow the comics, you really think there's nothing else they can come up with beyond governor and prison soap opera stuff?

I think there was a couple of comic issues that had aliens lol

I haven't read them but have been following this thread and they were talking about it

Ah, really. Interesting, are they the source of the virus? I can't skim through all these pages lol

I honestly can't see them incorporating aliens unless they played a HUGE role in the main story. I mean in the comics they had someone else, some random, kill the governor. The writer on the Talking said it wasn't satisfying enough and even somewhat silly to do that on the TV show. I feel he would say something similar if the aliens were brought up. I really think that would ruin the show unless they did it perfectly!

it wasn't two issues long and it was a joke. there are no aliens involved but they did like a two or three page worth where aliens were involved but it was a joke. aliens sent a virus to the world to infect humans so that they'd wipe themselves out and the aliens can come and either inhabit or just use up it's resources or something. and I was kind of pissed actually. I seriously thought they went there. but gladly it wasn't the case

actually, the person who actually killed the governor was Lilly in the comics as well as on the show. sure it was michonne that put a sword thru him that would've killed him eventually if the zombies don't get to him first. but lilly finished him off on the show and it was also lilly who killed him in the comics. well, the zombies got him before he died but Lilly smoked him first

the fight with rick and the sword thru the chest isn't how it went down in the comics. the gov's relations with lilly was also not in the comics. in the comics, Lilly was a member of woodbury only, not his gf/new family

but what the writer meant was that if they had killed the gov on the show the way they did on the comics it wouldn't have been satisfying enough. the comics got some flack from fans about how unsatisfying the gov's death was in the comics (and in hindsight he agreed) and he did not want to do that with the show.


if aliens got put into the story, i'd probably quit the show
