Chill. I was in elementary school and it was the 80's. You keep going at me like I shouldn't have a moral compass or something. If your cool with anything ratchet that's fine. But don't act as if everyone should just let anything slide. That's why we are where we are as a society. It's called moral decay. I really feel like you got it out for me right now. If so talk to me not about me. If not disregard.

I seriously don't know how you came to the conclusion that I got it out for you. we disagreed on the killing kids part and I was surprised to hear you needed permission slips to watch old yeller. we grew up around the same time. i'm only a few years older than you. so my bad for assuming you were younger but I guess things were just different here in socal at the time

but I continued the conversation with others, that's all it was, a continuation of the discussion which got a little more broad. don't know why you would think I got something against you just by our brief discussion.

I've already stated that this is just my opinion so it's fine if you disagree. no, we shouldn't let just anything slide, but we shouldn't be offended by everything also.

back to what we were talking about, bottom line is, I think it's fine what the last episode did and kids shouldn't be watching the show anyways but that's up to the parents of the house. I also think a highschool teacher shouldn't get fired over a movie (relevant to the course and for teaching purposes) with a sex scene. that's my opinion and if yours differ that's fine. we can agree to disagree

and needing permission slip to see old yeller in class is silly. but again, my opinion
