The Walking Dead

I also didn't seem impressed with it. I felt Hershel's death was more shocking and upsetting. I admit I did get a little tearer-eyed but that was about it.

You read spoilers though? Isn't it hard to be shocked when you know what's coming?

Lol the beginning was bad ass sumo. All he had to do was stop. I felt a tad bad when the cop explained that he doesn't trust them. He acted in a way the group should've. trust no one new

Talk of spoilers for those who still haven't seen it(don't read below)

I had no idea who or when. I just guessed it would be Carol or Beth. Also it made logical sense it would occur during the exchange of people. Once Carol was back with the group, I knew it had to be Beth. Also she seem to go out in normal fashion. I mean how many action shows out there have a swap where someone gets shot with a gun? Had a zombie jumped out and bit her, it might have had more effect.

Yeah you got a point there. Had a real life feel to it as you could see it realistically happening but yeah, low shock and style points for how she passed. I think being 5 seasons in, they talk too much about behind the scene things and they're walking us into some of these death scenes. They've killed so many people that it's hard to shock us. They really missed the boat with the slaughter scene early on where we could've been caught off guard

Once again watched this with my wife. Lamest end to a season/midseason I think I've ever seen. The entire hour was taken up with a trade only to have the last five minutes show what we knew was going to happen...lame.

I also didn't seem impressed with it. I felt Hershel's death was more shocking and upsetting. I admit I did get a little tearer-eyed but that was about it.

I'll admit, the way she dies was more shocking than her dying in itself.

but part of that is because of posts like this in the quote below.

borg, how could you be surprised by last night's episode if you already see things like this? i'd prefer not to read things like this actually.

Interesting read...this takes place on the mid-season episode on November 30th

Sounds like Carol gets it...or Beth

Lol that's the article I was referring to to sumo. It deletes all suspense. You literally knew only Beth or carol could die with an outside chance of some fringe player. You knew it was more likely a long time regular. I do get that maybe he was disappointed in the matter of which she was killed though

I'm with you that I'd rather know nothing at all too. Just give me the title of the episodes and pure speculation without director or actors guiding the speculation

the idiot host of talking dead last week was like, "we have a special surprised guest next week, but it doesn't exactly mean anything"

his comment pretty much confirmed borg's post.

I thought it was a decent mid-season finale. Ain't mad at it. February seems so far away.
