What I think will happen in the last episode is Tyerese tells the gov how to get in the prison. The Gov(and his army) invades w/ Tyerese . There's a shootout. Merle turns on Rick and them. It turns out Merle was undercover for the Gov and he captures Rick's gang and the show ends with The Gov.,Merle and Tyerese all standing side by side.

Before the showdown happens Tyreese was executed by the Gov with Michonne's sword. So in the comics the showdown happens. Lori and Judith is killed by a Woodbury resident as her Rick and Carl are fleeing the prison. The resident realizes that they are just normal people and angry that she had to kill a women and baby she turns and the Gov and kills him. During the conflict Axel and Hershel was killed along with a few characters not in the show.
Hershel probably won't be killed off this season because he is more less a Dale replacement since Dale was still alive up to this point and also had his leg cut off. Tyreese hopefully won't get killed off this season because they haven't set it up for that obviously.

Man, the episode before this week...how come everyone who could blast a zombie in the head from a mile away suddenly couldn't hit a thing? Worse shoot out ever

Well assuming they follow the comics, next season will be on the road so more zombies in theory.
that's good to know. really good actually, i'm getting tired of the whole prison/woodbury thing. it was more intense when they were on the uncertain road. and i'm missing the feel of the first season and parts of second
like before, when zombies were around I used to be like, oh dang, it's on now. but now, zombies are just background decoration or props
