The Gov from the show was more elegant where as the comic one was more dark and twisted. He looks like a white Danny Trejo lol. Yeah what Michonne did to him was brutal as hell. What did you think of the whole Thomas situation? In the show he was a hispanic gangster looking guy with an alpha complex, in the comics he was a paper jockey looking serial killer who butchered two of Hershel's daughters.
 
the Thomas situation didn't surprise me. I figured the show hinted at one of the prisoners being crazy. but what Thomas actually did surprised me.

anyways, holy cow, I can't stop reading. I just finished issue 53. everytime I say to myself this is the last one, the end makes me keep reading. I'm so into the damn comics, more so I think than the show. the whole thing with tyreese, woodbury, damn,.............. I couldn't stop reading. i was crushed man, i was crushed to see our man tyreese go down like that. I figured he died some time since you posted that clip of rick finding morgan. It killed me to see the way he went out. i was hoping for more of a fight. I didn't like how it happened. anyways, I started what? 2 days ago? and I'm already like half way caught up to you guys. right now they just met up with the seargant Abraham. I can read ten more but damn, I gotta go to sleep. got things to do tomorrow

last time I was this into reading a comic book was way back when I was reading Spawn
 
Trust me I know that feel, what sucks is when you hit the end of the tunnel and have to wait a whole month for the next issue. The last few months have been hell.

As far as Tyreese goes he went out brutal, really sucked to see him go so hopefully we see him for a bit in the show. Abraham is a nice character, not quite a Tyreese substitute but close.

What did you think about Lori and Judith? I love how they did the whole Rick and Carl thing shortly after the prison.
 
Lol, I been skimming the hell out of this thread since sumo started reading. So many comic spoilers.

I'm afraid I'm gonna miss when we turn back to the show though

Then get a comic viewer app for your gf's iphone and read. Stop being lazy Eddie, reading can be fun sometimes.
 
Lol, got my own iPhone now. Problem is time. I'm about to go into a vid game coma next week when new gears of war comes out
