yes it was very shane like.

minus the punk b**** and home wrecker part

she didn't really intend to hide it. she is really doing what leaders do. make hard decisions and not be a punk and try to cover her tracks. she was just being subtle and if they find out they find out. she looked rick right in the eyeballs of his soul and was like, yea I did it

shane on the other hand, would do sneaky and shady ass stuff

carol > shane

she should've been sneaky about it. put them in a large barrel or something. how can she look tyreese in the eye? oh that's right, she acted like a whiny punk b***** when talking to him. guilt eating her up. weak sauce. shane had no guilt. he'd have smashed that girl while making david watch and then burned them both and then smiled in tyreese face. ice in his vein and a confidence in himself that he was doing the right thing

shane > carol

well, to be fair, if a pissed off big black dude with a hammer just found the body of his girl that I killed, I would probably wait until his head was clear before telling him also

I believe she would probably tell him

shane though, would take that to his grave unless they found a bloody glove of his, shoe prints that match his, hair in the cells that match his, and a surveillance footage showing him in the act. and even then he'd probably try and make up an excuse

new carol > shane > abused insecure house wife carol

I liked shane, he was a boss. a lot of times in situations like the zombie apocalypse you need someone like shane

but he can never be a leader that people would follow for long. shady sneaky stuff will eventually turn people against you. he was never gonna tell anyone what he did to Otis and he was never going to tell rick about him and lori. dude was figured out, only then he admitted it

i think he should've been silent about those kinda things. some people don't handle adversity and stress well. might as well keep it all on your shoulder.

i have more issues with his action then his willingness to talk about them. otis didn't need to go out like that

see, that's the thing with shane. his reason for keeping it to himself was not to spare everyone else the unnecessary pain and unnecessary extra stress or so that he can bare the weight on his own so that no one else has to. he hides it because his reasons for committing those crimes is because it's shady as hell and he knows he's wrong for doing what he did.

see, rick isn't perfect but people want him as a leader because he actually wanted to take on the stress so that no one would have to. for example, he was gonna shoot Sophia. but daryl stopped him and daryl killed Sophia instead. he told rick, you don't have to bare everything on your shoulders and that you need to share some burden.

that was the difference between rick and shane. shane would look out for everyone too, but then where they differ is when shane has a personal and selfish agenda, he'll do WHATEVER it takes to get that agenda done
