I seen this preview now. will be interesting to see how it turns out. there seems to be some cool stuff going on.

I liked Z nation. I know I shouldn't, but I do.

Im a sucker for zombie movies and shows. And I've also been around the block when it comes to B list movies. I guess I have acquired a certain tolerance for them, along with a different set of expectations.

Twd and z nation are in 2 different leagues entirely. Twd is a high budget show which is centered on character development and takes it self really seriously. .. z nation is just the opposite.

I liked how Z nation had a fast moving, albiet thin, plot. One episode of Z nation is equivalent to a season of twd. I love the walking dead and have read the books too, just frustrates the hell out of me when they drag some of the plot points out terribly long... like the whole governor thing, that could have been resolved in a few episodes not 2 seasons. At least on Z nation when a charismatic cannibal villian rears his ugly head, he gets promptly dispatched in 42 minutes, and that I like.

TLDR; I like Z nation and twd, but for entirely different reason, ill agree it's an apples to oranges comparison

I have a weird thing with enjoying bad movies. for some reason it's only some bad movies that I like. can't quite put a finger on why some and not others

but for a tv series, it's different. I hate plot holes and bad pacing, bad acting in tv series. which is why I started complaining about the waking dead. it's like they got lazy or something. the success got to their heads or something, and now they're just not as good as they used to be. but i'm too invested to quit the show. i'm riding this one out. plus I can't stop watching because I know Negan is on his way. if i'm honest, I believe they will screw him up. it's like i'm waiting for him to come so I can piss and moan about how horribly they screwed him up. he is the best villain in the comics

I agree that the gov story dragged on too long but disagree about finishing him in a few episodes. i'm ok with a whole season of him, but he really should have died at the end of the season and not drag onto the next season.
 
I haven't checked in 2-3 months but the youtube comics got shutdown. At first there was notes that Robert Kirkman had them pulled due to copyright infringement. Someone else said they would take over but he only did 1 issue. I left off somewhere around 128
 
Yea, found a 3rd person doing it now. started reading it. They changed some of them up after the capture of Negan. Rick looks like an old farmer(short hair and long beard). Negan looks like the Jesus guy on here(long hair and a beard). Not to mention both their faces look different too.
