me and my wife both were hoping they'd go back to the group at some point but this was all beth

this isn't my favorite episode but I was drawn in a little at times, because they did a good job at executing the tense moments. they've done well with that all season so far.

and since this little side story with beth isn't in the comics it's nice going into it completely blind. but I can see it getting old quick so they better get it done quickly like they did the termites

Long story short, gf's mom bought a duplex. Gf moved in one unit, mom in the other. Since we aren't planning on staying long, dish contract went under gf mom's name. I pay the bill though. So mom rage quits on Friday after she forgot to record something and couldn't find it on demand. Hahaha. Now she's on the hook for the $900 contract and we dont have ish (cable wise)I was soooo mad! You dont rage quit without an exit plan! She thinks she can win in small claims court too. I say no way in hell. You terminated a contract

I thought last night's episode was awful and totally killed the momentum that the series had this season.

I understand they had plenty of resources at their disposal, but things were just too clean for being 2 years into the apocalypse. Even the most well stocked hospital would be cleaned out in a matter of months.

Reminded me of the season 1 garbage. And why is she in Atlanta? I thought they were miles and miles away from Atlanta? But who knows.

I mean I guess it was ok, but it didn't compare to episodes 1 2 and 3

While I understand they had to give some back story, I agree with the momentum came to a halt. Not sure if I like the side story with Beth, but as the ending showed - it might pick back up again soon.
 
A few episodes is fine. They are doing good. At least for me, I just get impatiently frustrated with people like Gareth and the hot crazy cop.

As displeased as I was with last nights episode I'll wait s bit and see where they go with this before I can answer.There might be a nice pay off to having to put up with this for an episode or two....If they were going to do the random reunite that could have easily been pulled off with Daryl and Carol catching up to the mysterious car,killing the captors and rescuing Beth.But then there wouldn't be much need to go over the backstory in future eps.
 
While the story was slower and boring(I didn't even watch encore 1, 2 or 3)it was a change from Rick and the gang...and everyone will be happy when they are back.
