Yeah, it was a fun chess match to watch. So many moves and counter moves

lol, even the punch didn't seem to surprise aaron. it was like in his head he was thinking, "ok, a punch to the face right off the bat means I resort to plan C, section 1.45 in our 'luring people in' handbook"

disarming is a must when you meet if you are the community

on the flip side, not agreeing to be disarmed is understandable too. it's a tuff situation

both sides have things to gain, both sides have risks

Hahaha, he had it down pat, Rick was really struggling to mount any meaningful offense. Aaron rope a doped him.

About disarming, I can just see a hostile takeover like that scene in captain Phillip

Look at me, look at me. *looks up* I'm the captain now

Yeah it sucks but it should be expected

I would be weary if I was Rick too.

You have a guy that shows up out of nowhere. Says he wants you to join him at his camp. Doesn't say where it is, doesn't say how many are with him. Doesn't want to eat his own apple sauce...LOL...the only thing they know about this place is that it's called Alexandria.

And when they get there, they're asked to give up their weapons.

Hmmmm...

The real question we should be asking is....what would Shane do? Herschel?

It's always amuses me that it's not more of a council approach for decision making with majority rules. I'm not a fan of the ricktatorship

Something tells me that if Shane were there, he would not lower his weapon...LOL...Hershel maybe...

Slight comic book related to the show spoilers....

Something I just noticed on there, like the comics. Aaron makes Alexandria sound perfect but leaves off the fact that they(and Alexandria) are really under Negan's dictatorship. As Negan controls them and their food supply.

that's where the show fails on the ricktatorship

comic book rick is a boss, and well deserving. he's on point in all the decisions and everyone has no choice but to respect him as he's a proven leader. he doesn't go emo or retarded when lori died and he sure as hell never turned farmer. boss i tell you, not to mention doing it all with one hand

lmao, dude, he's got rick second guessing himself like a mutha

I seriously thought I was the only one seeing that. I mean everyone can see that rick is hesitant on trusting anyone but I was picturing things in my head during his dialogue with aaron. plus he has his own people wanting to believe aaron, which is making it worse for him, lol
