the widow killer.....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are common here but not really a problem, the ones I don't like are the hobo spiders, similar to the recluse, they are aggressive.

I hate spiders but sometimes upon finding one I would pick up a smallish bug like an ant and throw it in the web just the watch the spiders wrap it up and save it for later..

Spiders freak me out as well. Thankfully, the MN/ND winter wipes out venomous spiders, and most venomous snakes. I don't think I could live where you live... I'll take a little snow over spiders anyday.

OMG time to pull out the BUG NUKE mwuhahahhahahahahahahaaah

Yep
those arent Black Widows.

I actually didnt know there were Brown widows.

But you'll know for sure if they're black widows. They are pitch black. Black, black.
And once you see their underside, you'll see the red hourglass very clearly.

That first picture made me want to vomit.
:hypnotize

I think i would have shat myself if i walked into a web with one of those on it.
:nilly:

I use to get 7" huntsman spiders in my old house. Scary stuff, seeing a huge spider just sitting on your wall.

I love orb weavers. They use to spin complete webs right in front of my kitchen window were there was an outside light which reflected in just the right way to show the web it its full glory.
