As for the "crappy paint job", all our Police cars have those reflective stickers all over them. (Helps US to see them in the dark!)

Australia: Holden VE Commodore

How come the rest of the world gets nice cop cars and we here in Australia are stuck with this ugly piece of sh1t, the VE. They should use more falcons.

In japan they use a lot more then the gtr cop car, they use supras, FD rx7s, nsx. Thats all i know off.
I was on another forum and in texas this person sees supra cop cars and a sti cop car.

Yall realize that these cars are most likely used just for publicity and not for actual daily duty right?

My hometown police has a marked convertible corvette, and of course it is used just for public events and stuff. They do have many Camaro Z-28's and SS's as well as nice Mustang GTs, Dodge Chargers (all trim levels) for daily duty.

Yeah, they would be pretty useless for daily duty. Sure, they could keep up, but they can't dish out a shot when needed, and most of them don't have a rear seat or 4 doors to put a criminal in there. They also lack the space to carry equipment required for normal policing work.

Those Lotus Exige pursuit cars are sick!!!!!! Probably my favorite car (street version). The Spykers, Lambos, and Porsches are pretty sweet too.

You wanna see some fast police cars, jst go down to South Texas. Camaros all over the place. You'll see one up close and personal if you have anything showing you're from Austin on your ride.

This is the kinda speed I like to see under our cops. I would love a Smith and Wesson bike, though.

I've seen a lot of Z28 Florida Patrol Cars, Georgia State Patrol uses a lot of Chargers. Also, a lot of those aren't used for active patrol but more promotional crap. It seems like every department around this area has some sort of seized car that has rims that they use as their D.A.R.E car.

our city just got chargers.
i liked the crown vics they had before, alot easier to pic out of the crowd.
reguardless, ive still been pulled over 14 times in 2 years, with usually some lame excuse or another for why they did it (never for speeding, and hence ive never got a ticket). Basically they target my car bc im a teen, getting close to my face to see if i drank, and even searching my car twice, my fav being when i had sand from the beach on my car and they thought it might be cocaine.
