Ah humans, we are quite adept at killing off species to further our own causes. Then again, this one lives in the ocean, it's unlikely that all of them can be caught.

More time and money should go into oceanic research. Ironsulfide snails and immortal jellyfish ... inverts seem to have quite a few things figured out eh? Brave new world down there friends .

Its cool but not that surprising this jelly only gets to be 4-5mm which means it grows to 1/5 of a inch long and wide max. So its not like it has much to rebuild.

there ya go. he states that jellys can shrink and grow according to available food. this article is talking about the jelly reverting back to its original state in which it was tiny.
