I have had great success with API ich cure. Follow the directions and has always worked for me.

That med has worked for me in the past. Quick cure also works. But If you use quick cure you should take the decor out. I can stain it blue.

Since no one seems to have mentioned it... if you have some sort of substrate in your tank, be sure to vacuum it VERY WELL to get rid of any remaining ick in the tank... the last thing you would want is another outbreak once you fixed it...

I use both salt and ICK guard 2... i crank up the heat to 90, add 1tbs per 5g and Use meds as directed...

Also as a preventative for ick I also medicate my tank every 3rd WC with Ick Guard 2.

I think thats a lil overkill especially the 90 degree temp. I never go over 86 and of the few times my fish have gotten ick it only last a a few days at the most
