nice setup if only you could get a carpeting plant it would be perfect, perhaps java moss. i tried hair grass with my goldfish they ate it.

why did you decide to paint instead of using aquarium background? I know a place that sell background that color you painted. BTW, your tank looks a lot nicer than my uncle goldfish tank back in the days. I never thought a goldfish tank could look this nice.:) When he had his goldfish tank back in the days there was no theme. He had "No Fish" sign then a the scuba diver floating up and down, a windmill house powered by air bubbles, and fake plastic plants.

How does this bridge look in you tank?:naughty:

I painted because backgrounds cannot match the look of paint on the glass, paint makes the color show up much better.

Part of my goal with this tank was to avoid the 'cheesy' look, and take the goldfish tank to the next level.

I wanted to show that goldfish deserve some respect considering their history and they can be show piece fish in the right setup. If I can get you to say the setup looks good, then I think I did good lol

I like the bridge (from CK right?) but it is not right for this setup. I'm not going to add anything else, it is complete. Thank you for giving me a heads up about it though, I always appreciate it bro.

I think Goldfish are underrated. I'd love to do a Goldfish Tank myself, if I had the funds and room. My cousin in Thailand has a gorgeous Goldfish Tank that I was amazed by.

That bridge is not from CK but from Chinatown. It would've cost a grip is CK had it. That's ok, I have my asian theme tank if you don't want it.:)

That's how I've always felt. One of my goals is to visit Tung Choi street in China to see all the vendors and check out all the quality goldfish they have.

CK aquarium is the only place around here that comes close lol

Another tank! I wish I had the space you have, can't wait to see your setup.

No more tank for me dude. I'm actually cutting back and planning to sell a few tanks. I will use it in an existing tank.

Very nice.

I had a simple little 30 gallon setup at one point with five small fancy goldfish for a year or so until I found one belly up one morning and the others soon followed. Never figured out what did them in.
