There are a few public aquariums around my area that have them on display and it everytime I saw them It made me want one more and more. So i got one :D

I am certain they get to at least 50 years as proven by the specimen at Shedd Aquarium. But I have also read that they can live up to 100 years.

The one i picked up is around 2ft.
Let see some updated pics.. i'm curious on their growth rate...
 
Post some more pic's I'm picking one up from H20 aqu. in two weeks any tips would be sweet.
 
Updated pics are on the way, I just have to find some time to post them up. Since the last photos he has grown another inch. Shoefreak, your right I have never seen such fast growth rates before. He is eating still eating like a champ and is filling out and looking very healthy.
