There are leaches in my tank

x2. The leaches either were moved indoors when you brought the fish in, or their eggs were moved in.
 
not all leaches suck blood some are detritivores
 
i just had that happen to me. they were attached to all my fish and i couldn't remove them.

That's what I was thinking.
Also, SA cichlids should be eating those leaches right up. Free food IMO.
But honestly, if your fish aren't eating them. Find a way to remove them.
 
They will be staying in the tank, the fish will eat them when they find them.
They may be some sort of little work too, but boy do they resemble a leache perfectly.

The fish always look a million times nicer when I take them from the pond because of all the live insects fish and stuff they eat.
