Female has the black mask on again and is doing a lot of head shakes and cleaning. I'm scheduled to do a water change today so that might trigger her to lay eggs again. Gary, how much do you want for the male?

It's absolutely true though. They should be bred (or at least attempted to) while there is a chance.

Even though I can't have a beani (unless one of my current fish dies) I would luv to read about and see pics of new beani being bred, raised, and distributed. Thats why I'm a cichlid forum junkie!

Please !!! In the name of cichlids bring the beani back into the hobby can you imagine how much money someone could make off a batch of 300 fry.. oh say x's 50-100 bucks ea. for a 1in fish and then a month later another batch i know i would pay for 2 right off the bat.Of course its not just because of the money its an awsome fish.
