I would add more red and more pearls to his blood, so breed him with SRT?
But, the outcome of breeding him with RQ should be good looking too.

I like red texas but they're too expensive for my blood and my water is too hard for carpinte and texas's so I don't think they'd acclimate to my water very well.

The SRT will increase pearls and redness but the kok size in the offspring would go down. In my opinion breed him to a red monkey for more stable kok and redness or a KML for pearls/kok but you would get plums too

RM= known for most unstable KOK/color fish among all flowerhorns/kamfas.
If you want stable big KOK, classics are the way to go( ZZ, KML).

Not dead or beat up, better than I could have imagined sharing a home in a 60gallon with that beast.

If you want stable big KOK, classics are the way to go( ZZ, KML).

RM is probably my favorite strain of flowerhorn (anything without a flowerline actually) but I don't think a red monkey would do anything for this strain either. I think what I have is already better than red monkeys. The only flowerlined fish I'd even think of breeding him with right now would be one of those tan kings but I haven't seen updates on anybodys in a while.
