Thermometer breaking

IF your thermometer happens to break and all those little metal balls are all over the bottom of your tank :irked: A magnet is a very effective way to remove them :)

does the red stuff in the thermometer hurt the fish?

Thanks for the tip..are they lead balls? My puffer ate my thermometer
a few weeks ago and i had to hand pick them one by one.
 
That is why I have a CoralLife digital thermometer.
 
Yea, definatly not lead if you are picking it up with a magnet.
