these are my boys

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no ideal with the dovii, sorry. if you are in kent WA, drive up to Monroe, I set you up with some F1 jag juvies. have about 40 in the 90g grow out/nursery tank.

I am going male, and male. I suck at sexing. Dovii are very hard to sex young, as are Jags. I have a 50/50 shot on being right. I have a 8" to 9" Jag that is male, a 5" female jag, a 12" dovii male, and a 2" dovii unknown. I just think they have a look that screams male. Not much help, but did I tell you nice fish!

here my mated pair of wild caught getting ready to lay about a week ago (they bread like rabbits), easy to tell the deference from male to female. year and half ago, was never really sure.

ohh that's a long drive!!!!!

Nice fish Pops, what did you call for the Jag? Oops, just saw it. I have no idea, damn hard to sex until bigger.

loving that tiger oscar, its a recipe for disaster with that combo of fish pal, need to move the dovii and jag out before long. welcome to mfk, i think your dovii is a female btw im no expert but the lines coming down from the lateral stripe and the yellow colouring hint at female to me.

welcome to MFK, good to see another UK member.

dovii look female to me, and the Jag look male although its very young.
