Thanks. That's the photo that was more of a grab and go....with my car idling on the interstate. LOL I shot it with the fisheye lens. Lots of folks have commented on that one.

They are all so beautiful. I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried there are so many that are amazing. Good Job and thanks for sharing them with us!

Very nice Mo, I'd have to say my favorite is the close up of the Poppy with the water droplets.

Thanks. I love the feedback as much as I do taking them. I happen to like the Peony photos. They were all taken at around 5p. The light was warm and coming in from the side. I used a really strong diffused light from the side of the flower to give it some depth. It was shot at a very high aperture (f32), low ISO (100)...which gave detail as well as helped blow out the background...or in this case, ground.

Thanks.

LOL I like that. Acid and pure joy...love it. Everything I know is self taught through reading and just experimenting. There's a really good book I would highly recommend...I don't remember the exact name...but it deals with editing in channels..the R-G-B individually. It really is an excellent resource. Thanks.

I like that one as well. That's acually two exposures blended into one. When I took the photo it was at sunrise. You can see the shadow on the side of the stamin. The center of the flower was in shadow. I processed the RAW image twice...once for the petals and the second for the leaves. Then I used a layer mask to combine the best of both images. The water drops I misted on with a spray bottle. Cheating mother nature.

I was thinking about doing that if I knew folks would be interested. You would be surprised at how little you have to do to put a little extra shine on a good photo. Basic stuff. What you see above is about...on average..30-40 minutes to do. The Dandelion photo is 12 different layers or masks.

yeah id definitely be interested in learning the details! im sure other folks would too
