in the past few days ive learned a valuable lesson, I think if we stop to think before we act, lots of things would turn out better. Such as in this case taking a fish we dont intend to keep. I think when we catch a fish, we should take a few minutes at the site to evaluate our capabilities and long term ability to keep that fish, and if we cant answer affirmative, then leave it where we got it ( Right then) After of course looking at it and admiring it all we want :)
 
eh just release it probly wasnt even legal to keep it by the size it looks, unless you got a permit which i doubt, if youve only had it in captivity for a few days to a week it should be fine

I have to disagree with you. Once you take the fish out of wild, its dead as it cannot be returned to the wild. few days to a week doesnt sound good as the fish's probably already stressed out and become weak & diseased....oh by way this is old thread.
