in the past few days ive learned a valuable lesson, I think if we stop to think before we act, lots of things would turn out better. Such as in this case taking a fish we dont intend to keep. I think when we catch a fish, we should take a few minutes at the site to evaluate our capabilities and long term ability to keep that fish, and if we cant answer affirmative, then leave it where we got it ( Right then) After of course looking at it and admiring it all we want

eh just release it probly wasnt even legal to keep it by the size it looks, unless you got a permit which i doubt, if youve only had it in captivity for a few days to a week it should be fine

I have to disagree with you. Once you take the fish out of wild, its dead as it cannot be returned to the wild. few days to a week doesnt sound good as the fish's probably already stressed out and become weak & diseased....oh by way this is old thread.
