cmon now. very few truly talented people who've dedicated their lives since childhood to those you mentioned can be truly great

I can start training curling today and fly to sochi tomorrow (and go over the rules of curling on the plane ride there) and at least grab a bronze medal, mainly because of jet lag

Careful, you don't want to make a curler mad. They are known for....uh....sliding things carefully...I think?

lol, you're right. i'm sure they'd uh, mop the floor with me in a fight

they'd roll my head down the street then clean it up real nice

You're curling terms are far inferior to us Canadians. It's actually a broom. There is no liquid involved so I'm not sure why you are saying mop :p. Also sweeping takes a lot of energy and there is physics to it. Curling ice is beeded and the brooms create friction to temporarily melt it and make it smooth fyi. Supreme Curler here!!!! Curling is so boring though.

So why be bothered with it if you find it so boring?

Your last comment is my whole point. Do you really feel it deserves a spot in the Olympics?

If I knew all that stuff you mentioned I honestly couldn't even brag about it

Krichardson, not sure if someone replied about wrestling...but wrestling was reinstated (although it's not part of the winter olympics, so you won't see it at Sochi)!!!!

Personally, I think the IOC wanted to see the wrestling community's response to the possibility of being dropped. Wrestling is not a big money maker for the olympics, and there was some corruption and other issues at FILA (the international wrestling regulators). The wrestling community responded, and the olympics made the right choice.
