Awwww Sad for you...They are gonna make someone very happy I'm sure... What are you planning to do next as a breeding project??
 
I decided it is time to raise some ...Kadango, Kandango, Red Fin Kadango, Red Fin borleyi, Yellow fin.. {COMMON NAMES} i have a huge male and three big females..I will still have my 10 inch male venustus and the females {2}... when i bounce back to them.. and i have found some venustus babies.. so i will grow them up too... very hard to part with them but they have a good home their going to.. and the blue zebras..also some OB zebras since i have so many will also go .. but yes very hard..for me...

I love the red fin kadango i got a male and 2 females myself, they are becoming my favorite trio I love the way they school together and they seem to enjoy eachothers company... peaceful yet flamboyant at the same time, they are great!! have fun with them have they spawned yet?:popcorn:

when they were young ..they spawned.. only got three babies out of it.. they were just too young.. but now my male is 6.5 inches and the females are about 4 hefty inches.. they have been apart since the first spawning.. i always wanted to put them back together..but never had the room.. so with moving alot out .. i will be able to put them back together.. and raise those guys for awhile ... my heart is heavy getting rid of the beautiful male venustus.. but they wanted a breeding trio so it is all good.. and hopefully the babies i have {3} one will be another male.. right now they are tiny... and then i have the breeding pair when ever i want to go back to them.. they are my favorites.. but my redfin is really a great fish too.. here is a lousy pic of him and the girls..View attachment 343797
