They all arrived in their new home.. the tanks are torn apart so i have alot of rearranging and moving fish yet.. and i have extra money to spend on lots of fish food .. lol..thanks everyone ..glad that is over.. very heavy on your heart chasing them down...

when they were young ..they spawned.. only got three babies out of it.. they were just too young.. but now my male is 6.5 inches and the females are about 4 hefty inches.. they have been apart since the first spawning.. i always wanted to put them back together..but never had the room.. so with moving alot out .. i will be able to put them back together.. and raise those guys for awhile ... my heart is heavy getting rid of the beautiful male venustus.. but they wanted a breeding trio so it is all good.. and hopefully the babies i have {3} one will be another male.. right now they are tiny... and then i have the breeding pair when ever i want to go back to them.. they are my favorites.. but my redfin is really a great fish too.. here is a lousy pic of him and the girls..View attachment 343797

Oh they are awesome looking!! My male has a nice bright red aslo but he is only 3 in so not as red as yours... my male is so cool he's got the females following HIM around all the time I am gonna go try to get some picks of the trio it's hard cuz they are very active!!

new pics coming up in a moment..every one rehomed...and doing great ..thanks..okay..since they were all moved.. believe me alot of moving.. of fish today... lol when you see the venustus male in the pics with females.. they were all moved there from various tanks after the other venustus male and females left.. this is dad venustus and also mom.. dad is 9.5 inches.. a little roughed up until things settled down.. i will get much better pics after they settle in and the males color gets stunning now that they are with the girls.. right now all their color is drained.. {they are in shock lol}
