ok so i bought these 2 about 4 and a half weeks ago.. in the first 2 weeks she laid eggs but they all died :( last night while with my girl i was laying in bed and noticed some "dancing" and little fin nipping going on, so i got out of bed and looked into a cup that they where in and caught them in the act :) she was laying eggs and he was doing his part: :) hopefully :P any ways this is the second time in less than a month.. the male is reaching 3.5 inches and the female is almost around a full 3... the male has a nice nuchual hump and the female was showing amazing colour but she turned really dark last night and well shes just sitting in the cup guarding her eggs ;)

Ok so i know to some of you this isn't much but to me it is these are my first fish to produce eggs that i'm aware of :) however its the second day in :) the mother is constantly by the eggs side in the cup unless someone is near she hurries to shoe them away :) the eggs have developed from yellowish colour to a little more dark mustard colour with black dots starting :) here are some pics one of the eggs sorry you cant make anything up my phone took all these pictures :) the second picture is their simple set up home:) ( when the fry start swimming should i remove my 2 hob filters and just run my canister?)

by the way im not spelling colour wrong to those in the states that may wonder we Canadians spell it colour not color :)

Very nice GT's

than you very much :) they are still very young in my opinion the male is only 3-3.5 inches in length i'm hoping that the older they get the better they look :P
