Awesome! I would have caught them out and put them in your new tank.

thought about it.
but they have that nice pond.
plus now i know they can handle the winter.
im planning on digging a 10,000g pond out there.
if they have babies,i can dump all the pb baby in the new pond and raise them on free feeders.

so i got the temp of the pond.
outside it was in the 50's today.
pond temp
in the shallow around 65 "first pic"
in the deep hole it was about 66-67 "second pic"
i would have figured the deep would have been warmer.
the pbass were no where to be found.
so the only place for them to go is the deep hole.
even tho the deep isnt that much warmer i guess thats what has saved them from freezing.

also took some pix of the pond and in a few you can see the deep hole.
and the white pole in the center is 20-25' long.
in the summer the water will be above it.
and in one pic you can see im starting to build a dock.

ya i am to.
not sure how they do it with temps that low.
hopefully it warms up soon and they can grow more and have babies.
