I agreed for the most part but I also want a tank to have a little natural surrounding as well. It's hard they're taken out of their home so the least I could do is give them something that look like their natural habitat.

to each his own. we all have our personal preferences.

You just like see the good right in front and go straight for the action.

I kind of like before too but it makes the tank looked cramped and my fish were actually more skittish with more hiding places. I would think it would be the other way around but it's not.

Not all archers are brackish. Some can be acclimated to fresh with no issue. My goal is to add some tiger scats but they might be too aggressive for the rest to handle.

I like it neat and still leave a lot to the imagination. Bare will work too but it gets boring quick.

I see my fish a lot more and saw fish I didn't know that were still alive. They're actually less skittish with more open space.

Thanks. Discus are active swimmers themselves. I don't know if I want too many plants yet. I hate having to deal with plant debris.

Jungle looks good but also can look messy. I cannot see what is hidden behind those bushes.

Thanks, I had those loaches for two years now and they seem to only grow 1 inch per year.

It doesn't look as good, but the bichirs will appreciate the room while the 150 gets setup.


I need to bring you those sword plants I was telling you to try. It will look good, and wont give you plant debris like the anacharis I have in my tank.
