I just purchased a thinbar dat today,over six inches for thirty dollars not long after release from the plastic bag and already swimming around like it owns the tank.The only dats that seem to be available around here are the two inch indos and the ones that have like five or six vertical bars on them,not that anything is wrong with indos,I have two small ones but its nice to come across one the rarer types,speaking of,if anyone knows where I can get some NGT;s lease let me know. Thanks.

Great deal, NTTs are usually considered to be the most shy of dats, mine sure is even though its the biggest fish in my tank by far!
No these are not my first dats,I kept them years ago when I wasnt aware that there were soo many different types and the silvers were all over the place.One store had what was and is the biggest dat that I have ever seen live,over twelve inches but looking back I cant remember if it was an indo or a widebar because it was always almost pitch black,I will post some pics soon.pwmin;1808327; said:
