"Things" in my Aro-Developments

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nifurpirinol is photosensitive and may be inactivated in bright light, so use this medication only in a darkened hospital tank.

I have tried Sera Baktopur, with other fish issues, and find it rather ineffective....that's just personal experience......

( a mixture of Methylene Blue, Malachite Green and Formaldehide )
This sounds like a pretty potent mixture...LOL

Only reason I suggest maroxy is it's not as harsh on fish:

Maroxy is a safe, stable, nonmetallic, and non-staining medication for the treatment of true fungal infections of both fish and their eggs. Also effective treatment of Bacterial diseases. For fresh and salt water.

Fungus: whitish tufts of cotton-like material found on fin, tail, and body

Sounds like your friend hit the nail on the head.....

i had no idea you were going through all this... thank goodness you had success to have a cure.

Is there a continuation to this thread? Did you manage to cure your aro, Miguel?

Methylene Blue + Malachite Green + Zinc Choloride (Mala-Green-F) is my emergency/last resort med - works for aros, cats and gars ... water becomes pretty too in the process
