1. Time goes soooo slow when she isn't here. I woke up Friday at 11am and did some things around the apartment. Put up xmas lights, laundry, played with the dog. I look at the time........3:50. Are you kidding me! That's after watching tv and eating lunch for 45 minutes too!! I guess the old addage" time flies when your having fun" is true. Same today too, just seems like the day is dragging on. About to watch a movie to pass some time.
2. I went to Meijers (like Walmart) and bought batteries and looked at a couple of xmas gifts for her. Out within 20 minutes. It's an hour long event when we go together. Always wanting things and to look at stuff. I didn't spend anything that I wasn't planning on buying. I wanted too, but didn't. We always spend some extra money when we go together. Are all women like this? Do they need to go through the dog aisles to look at the same dog bones and say " we need to get this for the puppy sometime" every time we go? Get in, get out. I'll spend that money on you by going out to eat...screw the dog bone.
3. I actually got up earlier since she isn't here and didn't feel like the day was wasted. For some reason, she needs 12 plus hours a sleep a day. I mean going to bed at 3am, then waking up at 3pm the next day on our only day off sucks. I got things to do, even if I dont....the hell if I'm going to waste the 2 days I'm off by sleeping all day. I already sleep a third of my life.
Just some observations. Lol.
