Things I've noticed while the GF is out of town.

Yeah. I miss my gf, but I know it's only for a few days. Certain things would never get done if she was here. I mean its good to have alone time. Nothing wrong with having some alone time every now and then.

Its nice to have someone there who you can turn too and they can you. There's definitely advantages to having a gf, but also some disadvantages. But as long as the pros are more than the cons, then its all good.

Haha live like a dog and they like a king, i say, as opposed to living like a king and dying like a dog.

I prefer the former, my case, but understand my friends who opt for the latter.
 
Mine comes home in a few hours. I get one more man activity though, about to go to a buddy's to watch the packers run over the viqueens.

I've been with my girl for 3 years and was with my ex for 4, so for the past 7 years I've been knee deep in clingyness! I love having her around, but i also have a lot of fun on my own or with my buds! She does a lot for me, cooks, cleans, buys stuff, takes care of my house when I'm gone, feeds my animals etc....


I love her, but I love my space. Maybe I just have a lot of hobbies and stuff to do so I don't mind her not being around 24/7. It's the best of both worlds.

I hear ya... I guess this is where i lucked out, i've had clingy g/f's in the past, but my current girl after all these years has learnt to give me my space when i need it / ask for it...

I guess a lot comes to mutural respect for one another, and when you find that balance, it all seems to work out quite well... At least that was the case for me :)
