Using the word "like" when it's not necessary.

...using the phrase "and poop" after every sentence. (really supposed to be 4 letter bad word but I even get pointed for using exclamations and symbols)

example: I gotta go to the store...and poop. Even though you're really not gonna poop.

...and remember its the American language and not English language. Anywho this language is just WRONG. We say "Red Fish" when most other languages it's "Fish Red".

Oh Thanks Sumo, this is awesomest idea for a thread, LOL :headbang2

Why didn't you stop that Guy from stealing your purse?

My fish life is sparked up with Polys :)

It sounds wrong if you take away the contraction though:

Why did not doomiedee run before the police surrounded him?

As opposed to:

Why didn't doomiedee run before the police surrounded him?

I'm a scientist so I don't bother with grammar, but I feel like there's at least a better way to word it.

"why did not you stop that guy from stealing your purse?" is improper. those two words should never start a question if you want to say it properly. you have to say, "why did you not stop that guy from stealing your purse?"

thanks

btw, "American" is also misused over and over again. to say as "American as apple pie" is wrong. Canadians and the countries south of the US are also americans. so it should be "as united states of American as apple pie."

and I think calling native americans "indian" is considered offensive. just ask someone from india

Just as most Native Americans don't want to be called Indians..

To me it sounds even better to phrase the question around what was done rather than what wasn't done.

"Why did you sit there idly while someone stole your purse?"

I saw a news story that said the term soccer originated in England
