i dont use correct punctuation, but then again i dont really care if it bothers somebody so much that they need to make a thread about it (by the way, this is not the first thread like this). i do find it annoying however when people post on here as if they were typing a text message. now that crap you cant even read.

The only two things the bother me on this forum, are people like you that make threads like this, complaining about grammar yet you can't spell. And also when people think someone is going to answer thier question faster IF THEY USE ALL CAPS AnD MAKE IT JUST A HUGE RUN-ON SENTENCE WITHOUT ANY PUNCTUATION ITS QUITE ANNOYING AND HARD TO READ.

Sometimes I'm looking through thread titles or individual posts and think, "this person is a complete idiot!" I don’t think it so much because of what they are trying to say as much as how they choose to say (or rather type) it.

For example:

No punctuation -- idiot
Typing things like "um" and other conversational placeholders -- idiot
Incoherent sentence structure when English is their first language -- idiot
Excessive abbreviations and text language OMG WTF B4 -- idiot
Panicked thread titles like "help" and "emergency" -- manic idiot

Now, I don't really think these people are idiots, but it bugs me in an annoying while slightly humorous way. Does anyone else have any forum language pet peeves? Please list them so we can all have a good rant.


Disclaimer -- I dont think I am better than anyone else or that my spelling, grammer, or comunication skills are perfect... I just like to rant on occasion.

WOW. 2 misspellings and 1 case of missing punctuation. Given the nature of your post, that must make you a HUGE idiot.
