I'm Where I'm At
When I was like 12 I used to babysit the kid next door who was like 7 or 8. His dad came home one time drunk and beat the crap outta him with a shoe for the mess we made. I remember being terrified thinking he was gonna woop me too. Later that month the cops showed up for other domestic stuff and the guy was hauled away. It was then I knew I didn't wanna be an angry drunk.

oh and this movie also scared me for years.

When I was like 2 I was accidentally clobbered by a dog and became terrified of dogs. I over came this fear when for my 4th birthday I got a puppy.

I guess this doesn't really count as something that still traumatizes me though

Family BS mostly....Angry dad....You know....I'll elaborate if asked, but don't wanna turn it into a pity party. :) Suffice it to say that I shy away from Mike when he is angry and hide somewhere, ingrained instinct. When a guy is pissed, you hide.

When I was a kid maybe around 7, 8 years old I saw a guy get shot dead in front of the "sportsmens club" on the corner of 19th St. and the Boulavard. It was a hang out for the local wize guys and an arguement broke out over a dice game. I heard my aunts talking about it afterwords. It left an impression on me for years.

On the lighter side I could not accept John Wayne getting killed at the end of "The Sands of Iwo Jima" I cryed like a baby the first time I saw it with my father. To this day I can't watch the end of that movie.
