Hexus from Fern Gully always freaked me out as a kid. even now when I watch that movie, I get a little prickly on the nape of my neck. Funny how that sticks with you, isn't it?

Long term, the real effect was a rather late developing social life. Didn't even think about girls until college. I mean, no proper Southern Belle would consider dating a Chinese
well that was then .. one thing good about not having relationships when your young.,. is you get a chance to mature.. and also you get to concentrate on goals in the future with out having mixed up emotional feelings from relationships that are here today and gone tommorrow... just think of all the grief that you did not have to go through.. at such a tender age...
that is the worst thing a friend can do to a friend.. hope she grew up into a normal person
In a nutshell:
10 or so - Threw the playstation through the wall in a fit of rage at my brother. The hole is there to this day.
12 or 13 - Killed my pet raccoon (his idea, BTW) then threw her in the trash in front of me saying, "Look what you did, look what you did."
15 - Smashed my mom's car with his in a fit of rage, somehow my fault. After the cop said 72 hours no contact and he bailed himself out of jail, we went to his house where he talked to each of the three of us (my brothers and I) alone. First thing out of his mouth, no joke, "Thanks for your manipulation and deceit." He kicked me out of his house like a week later and then spent three weeks threatening me to try to make me go back. I was scared to death to go to school, hang with friends, anything. It was horrible.
22 - After years of rebuilding our relationship and months of court-ordered family therapy, just when I think things might be better, he snaps and shoves me into my bed (would have been the wall if the bed weren't there) and just barely stops himself from hitting me. (To be fair, it would have been the first time, to my knowledge, that he would have physically abused me. He has never been physically abusive.) I don't even remember what the argument was about. I just know that I'm afraid of my dad. Not a good feeling. And it affects my relationship with Mike too. I know he would never hurt me, but the fear is still there.
And I can't say that the only memories I have of my childhood are bad ones. We've had a lot of good times too growing up. But my family pretty much puts the textbook to shame in dysfunctionality... Who's with me? lol
Unlikely, turns out I wasn't the only one, there was around 8 people she told, kept us all isolated and individual. I was in a small group that was told so luckily I wasn't completely alone.

Well..... seeing that I am 19 yrs old and still pretty young the list could add up but this is basically just my list to day.
1.) I was so SCARED OF Clowns!!!! They freaked me out... but I am used to them now, because my boss is a big giant ass clown.
2.)I was SO SCARED of Fire Trucks Passing by with those sirens... don't know why. I could piss my pants when I was a kid seeing those, now I love those sirens lol....
3.) 9/11 the attack of the twin towers really frightened me. Can't ever get that out of my head.
4.) The lose of my great ''italian'' grandma whom cooked excellent food.......... 5-6 yrs ago
