Limited in meds here in the UK Tom....only antibiotic med I know off is Waterlife's Octozin which contains metro....
She's never eaten live in 7 years( she's tried.... I've had to remove a 5" Con, 9" Uro, and last time a 12" Delhezi from her mouth that she was choking on over the years....), and moving her would finish her off I think....

this is the 'good' eye you can see the cloudiness


this is the side with the eye that was infected....notice the black pigmentation...this was not there prior to the infection....


one more.....as you can see she is neither bloated or emaciated
 
So relieved she took 2 whole dead Lance fish from my hand tonight....chewed and swallowed she looks so much more animated just for that one meal....so hope I've turned a corner with her....
 
Something similar happened to my oscar, he was attacked by my heros and lost 1 eye, he was full of funghi and internal bacteria and the surviving eye went foggy, he went without eating for 2 months, after that her eye stopped being foggy and just had some patches in the eyeball covering his vision some sort of infection i could never treat. after that he went back to eating like a monster and all his fins and eye hole repaired and he is perfect now apart from having 1/2 an eye and my friends gulper developed that black marks and a worm grow out of their

Good news, maybe she just needs some time heal completly.
 
Wow 7 years! I have had some old fish to and i can understand your concern! Once you have had a fish for that long it is no longer "just a fish".
